Marcia Jane works with light, sound, pattern and frequency to make shimmering, slightly unstable spaces.

Marcia has exhibited installations, video and live performance in Australia, Japan, Poland and France including WRO 15th Media Art Biennale (Wrocław), Les Instants Chavirés (Paris), Institute of Modern Art (Brisbane), Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography and Australian Centre for the Moving Image (Melbourne). She is currently undertaking her Master of Fine Arts by Research in Interdisciplinary Arts Practice at Victorian College of the Arts (Melbourne). In 2008 her video “Time Ball” was nominated for Best Experimental Short at Melbourne International Film Festival. In 2013 Marcia is the recipient of an Australian Postgraduate Award.
