Behind the architect Natalie Saccu de Franchi hides Mademoiselle L, french video maker. 

 

Her very 1st short film Diatomée has swiftly turned into a 'corps-métrage' concept, as she defines her work, then to a triptych Claire Obscure and Malojá thanks to various collaborations as the acclaimed one with Steven Severin for Malojá during the Nouveau Cinema festival 2010 of Montreal and at the London Tate Britain.
Her work on Pieter Nooten's piece of music "Slowed" reveals the paramount of ML's sensitivity.

 

Some festivals and gallery exhibitions: Diatomée was invited at the 2nd edition of the festival ART TRONIC II in Montpellier in May 24th/25th 2004. Claire Obscure was hosted at Le Festival Tous Courts in Aix-en-Provence for "Dance of the Bodies" experimental program in Dec. 2nd & 4th, 2009. It has entered in competition at the 38th Festival Du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal (Canada) in Oct. 2009. CO was selected for preview at the Singapore International Film festival and at the 1st edition of Le Festiquarius Sleemanas well, in Sherbrooke (Québec, Canada), scheduled from 20 to 29 May 2010. MALOJÁ was submitted to several international film festivals in 2010, year round- was hosted at the 39th Festival Du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal (Canada). 

Her 3 corps-métrages were screened at Le Cerisier gallery in Paris in Nov. 2010. MALOJÁ was screened at Tate Britain in London as the opening of Steven Severin's performance in Dec. 3rd 2010.

 

While she was working on the new album sleeve of the belgian band Modern Cubism (feat. Jean-Luc de Meyer of Front 242) and Jean-Marc Mélot (Modern Cubism), both coming out in June 2012, she was invited by Pieter Nooten to work on his new track called SLOWED I (Surround Us, new album). Premiere was in January 23, 2013 at FIFI Gallery in Mexico City.

 

She currently works on her new short film with some collaborations (to be announced soon). Meanwhile she worked on some music and art videos such as "Go And Come Back" by Fleeting Joys, an american shoegaze band, an experimental improvisation or a loss of control titled DÉRAPAGE and finally on a screening concept for the french band HNN.
